This March, the Hotel Sacher Salzburg invites you to a series of exclusive culinary evenings featuring Executive Chef Michael Gahleitner alongside guest chefs Giannis Rokanas, Sascha Kemmerer, and David Senfter. Together, they will create exquisite five-course menus that celebrate the finest regional ingredients. Hosted in the iconic Zirbelzimmer restaurant, preserved in its original 1866 charm, this is a dining experience you won’t want to miss.

March 8: Chef Giannis Rokanas

From the vibrant kitchens of Crete’s Arco Suites to Salzburg’s gourmet scene, Chef Giannis brings a Mediterranean twist. His philosophy centers on respecting ingredients, balancing bold flavors, and experimenting with culinary techniques—all inspired by his upbringing and studies at the Le Monde Culinary School of Athens.

Executive Chef at the Ifen Hotel in Kleinwalsertal, Sascha is known for his clean, authentic approach to cooking. His international experience—from Schloss Fuschl to Grande Roche in South Africa—shines through in every dish, with regional and high-quality products always taking center stage.

March 22: Chef David Senfter

On March 22, the “South Tyrolean Newcomer of the Year 2025” (Gault&Millau), David Senfter, will join Michael Gahleitner in the kitchen. Hailing from Restaurant Hebbo in Toblach, Puster Valley, Senfter began his career in Salzburg and has already received numerous accolades. He has been awarded four toques by Gault&Millau and was named Best Young Chef 2024 in South Tyrol by Falstaff.
