Located directly opposite the Vienna State Opera, Salon Sacher at Hotel Sacher Vienna combines Viennese elegance with the tradition of international coffee and tea culture. The interior draws on the style of the 20th century and creates a distinctive atmosphere. Elegant design and the bar as the central element give the space its unmistakable character. Salon Sacher is also a tribute to Anna Sacher, whose sense of style and hospitality continues to shape the spirit of Sacher today. A special highlight is the historic stucco ceiling dating from the building’s early years, which was rediscovered and revealed during the redesign. A place where Viennese history and coffee culture come together in style.

Enjoy a refined Sacher Afternoon Tea in Vienna in the elegant setting of Salon Sacher. This special afternoon ritual combines Viennese tradition with modern elegance. Look forward to a carefully curated selection of sweet and savory delights such as finger sandwiches, scones with clotted cream, and Original Sacher cubes, accompanied by fine teas and a glass of champagne at our Sacher Salon.

The Sacher Afternoon Tea will be served from Thursday to Monday, at two seatings: 1:00 pm or 4:30 pm. Vegetarian or vegan options are available upon request.

Sacher Negroni by WM Brown and culinary

A special highlight at Salon Sacher is the Sacher Negroni by WM Brown, an elegant interpretation of the timeless cocktail classic, served with an Original Sacher Cube. The characteristic bitterness of the Negroni meets the sweetness of chocolate, creating a harmonious interplay of distinctive flavours.

Salon Sacher also invites guests to indulge in a refined culinary selection. The menu ranges from selected Sacher snacks and light vegetarian dishes to much-loved classics from the Sacher kitchen, including the Original Sacher Butter Toast and the Sacher Club Sandwich.
