The Christmas market at Rathausplatz ranks among Austria’s best known and is the subject of countless photos and postcards. The Christmas market at Schönbrunn Palace is beloved for its traditional handicrafts, decorations, and toys. Boasting some 80 tastefully decorated stands and set against the breathtaking backdrop of the palace, the market offers enticing gift finds, delicious advent punch and baked potatoes, and an array of festive concerts. Young guests can attend a Christmas workshop and create hand-made Christmas presents.
