Leitner-Gründberg works simultaneously on figurative and abstract oeuvres that culminate in his radical “line paintings”, which lends his oeuvre a very wide range of aspects.

Erwin Wurm, an internationally successful artist, shows in the current exhibition at the MdM that art and humour can be very closely related. Wurm is well-known for his sculptures/installations that use the human body as recurring motif and point of reference. Particularly with his “one minute sculptures” he succeeds in modifying the established concept of sculpture and integrating everyday objects into his installations.

The Salzburg Summer Festival starts into its 90^th season. And again, the program will be particularly diverse and exciting this year.
